My name is Brittany Parks, and I am the board secretary for the Lake of the Woods Property Owners Association. I consider myself one of the lucky ones because I've lived my whole life at this lake. I graduated from Bremen High School in 2008, and this community has been part of nearly every big moment since: my graduation party, my wedding, and so many memories in between.

My parents chose to raise me on this lake, and honestly, that's one of the best gifts they ever gave me. Now I get to watch my own kids grow up here too, carrying that same tradition forward, and there's nothing I take more pride in.

Professionally, I've worn a lot of hats over the years — customer service management, office administration, event coordination, public relations — and no matter the role, I've always led with honesty, integrity, and transparency. Those are the same values I'd bring to the board, along with a genuine love for this place and the people in it.
